WINTER IS COMING!
Fusion passes let you enjoy the first snow of the season. A heavy snowfall is expected at Timberline this weekend, with light dusting scheduled for the following week.
Bring it, La Nina!

Lots of precipitation and cool weather systems = tons of mountain snow.
11 of 12 moderate-strong La Nina events since 1954 have produced above normal snow at Government Camp. Seems like a pretty good snow signal, doesn’t it? The last La Nina winter (2007-2008) was a massive snow year in the Cascades…definitely at the extreme upper end. Get a season pass!!! No, I haven’t accepted a free ski pass in years, so you can be assured I’m not biased.
The Fusion is definitely the best Mt. Hood Pass to get. Snow riders benefit from the the longest season with skiing at Timberline—now through May 30-- and the steepest slopes at Skibowl—where 40% of the slopes are Black Diamond—more than any other resort in Oregon.
Skibowl is usually operating by Thanksgiving, but last season it opened early--November 13. The earliest opening day in recent years was November 11, back in 1994. Opening dates over the past four years have been: December 14, 2008; November 30, 2007; November 25, 2006 and December 1, 2005.
