For those of you planning to come to the mountain this week there are tons of fun things going on. Outside of skiing and snowboarding you can take a sleigh ride with Mt. Hood Adventure. Tonight (12/27), you can have fun while a DJ spins tunes at the Ratskeller in Government Camp. Tomorrow night is open mic night at the Ratskeller. Wednesday there is Karaoke and New Year's Eve live music. Every night there is something fun and everyday.... football on the biggest screen in Government Camp.

For more New Year's eve fun, there will be skiing and riding at Mt. Hood Skibowl until 2am. Fireworks at Skibowl begin at midnight. This will be the biggest fireworks display we have ever had! If you are looking for a great slopeside meal on New Year's Eve try Multorpor Restaurant at Skibowl East. Elk Jagerschnitzel, Salmon Oscar and Chicken Monaco are amongst your dining choices. Call 503-267-5961 for reservations.  Another good New Year's Eve choice is to join Alex (formerly of Hubers) at the High Mountain Cafe in the Ratskeller building. He will be serving his famous Spanish Coffee until 11pm.

New Years day stop in to the Ratskeller in Government Camp or the Beer Stube at Mt. Hood Skibowl and watch the Oregon Ducks dismantle Ohio State. Afterwards hop on over to the High Mountain Cafe again and try out some of the Fondue they will be serving up from 6pm to 8pm!
