After a couple of really nasty days in the northwest (at least the highway was closed on the other side of the mountain this time....) things look like they are improving today. At 5am it was a good rain-snow mix up here, but it has cooled down even more now to about 33 degrees and the rain-snow mix is mostly snow. While the wind has been blasting on the other side of the mountain and at high elevations, it has not been bad here. We are planning to open at 1pm today. The forecast is calling for the snow level to be at close to 4000 feet so we could be looking pretty good. I will check back in later this afternoon after we open and let you know.
